St Johns Pumpkin Trot 10k: A nice 10k starting in the park, going up a hill, running on trails, then dirt roads, and through downtown. Course was well marked but the map was misleading about how far to turn around in the dirt road. Robert, Don, and Cruz were too fast for me. Near half distance Susanne caught up with me, and we ran most of the rest at a close distance. I finished in 42:30. Robert was the male winner and Susanne the female winner. Autumn Classic 8k: This is a nice run around Lake Lansing, staring at the dirt road in Lake Lansing park north. The weather turned out very favorable, and I had many friends running the race. CRIM Festival of Races 10mile: My second time at CRIM in Flint, MI. The crowd in the race and also on the side of the road cheering is amazing. There is not a single boring mile in this race. I finished the first half with Susanne, and had a slower second half, a total of 78:19 for the 10 miles. Better than any of my recent long runs. Photo: Selahi, Don, Susanne, Jim. Capitol Bancorp 5k: My first 5k of the year. The course was beautiful with few small hills and some western wind. I had a good first mile, but did not have the strength during the last mile.
