• Math biology; Electrostatics of proteins, PDE approaches for biomolecular surfaces.
• Matched interface and boundary (MIB) method and its applications.
• Mathematical finance, derivative pricing, and risk management.
• Mathematical and statistical modeling, data mining, and informational retrieval.
• Wavelet applications in images, sound signal visualization and pattern recognition.
