Discrete Mathematics I

• Exam Week Office Hours: 3--5pm on Mon 4/28 and 12--5pm on Thurs 5/1 in Wells D-326. Please hand in Quiz corrections by Mon, writing your answers on a separate sheet so you can study from the original.

• Honors Option: Submit a portfolio of your collected Extra Credit work by Mon of Exam week (4/28), in the envelope on my door, Wells D-326. Include extra credit earned on Quizzes and Tests.

  I have given a total of about 60 points worth of Extra Credit problems (2 or 3 points per problem). You should have about 30 EC points to earn Honors Credit. If you do not yet have this much, do more EC problems from any HW. Hand these in along with your portfolio of graded problems by Mon 4/28. Please contact me if you do not have enough points, but Honors credit is vital for you.

We denote the binomial coefficient (n choose k) as (n | k), and the multi-set number (n multi-choose k) as ((n | k)).
