My name is Luke Williams. I'm a graduate student in the Department of Mathematics at Michigan State University. I'm pursuing my Ph.D. under the advisment of Selman Akbulut. My primary mathematical interests involve problems in smooth four-dimensional topology. See the research page for more details!
In addition to my research interests, I teach classes as a teaching assistant for the department.
The MSU Math department has a lively group of geometers and low-dimensional topologists. See the seminars & colloquia page to find this week's talks in the Math department. Many of these talks relate to the fields of geometry and topology.
