[20-Jun-12] We will finish the new material (the remainder of section 10.7) on Friday. Homework 5 is available here, (and is due next Monday). An old final exam is available here.

[9-Jun-12] We covered:   finding and classifying critical points using the second derivative test   using Lagrange multipliers to find constrained maxima and minima Exam 2 is this Monday. It covers all of chapter 9. To study, it might be beneficial to look at homework 4, which is due on Monday June 18.

[4-Jun-12] We covered:   computing partial derivatives algebraically.   gradients. Homework 3 is available here, and is due on Monday, June 11 (the same day as exam 2).

[21-May-12] We covered:   mean, median, normal distributions (section 8.3) Homework 2 is available here, and is due on Friday, June 1
